Transport and travel

Encourage mountain bikers to reduce their use of motorized transport and use public transport or other « soft » means of transport. Most mountain bike tours will be non-motorized, departing from Vevey or by train.

After 17 years of practicing sports in natural environments, on land, rocks or glaciers, on water or in the air, nature has taught me to be aware of the need to respect our environment. With BIKAPA, I want to continue this approach.

Together, we can help preserve our beautiful natural environment and its flora and fauna, and I want to involve you in this responsible approach during our mountain bike tours. In addition to raising awareness of the need to respect nature, a donation is made to the Mountain Wilderness association for each tour organized.

BIKAPA is convinced that defending these values will guide us in the future towards a more sustainable and circular economy.

Far from seeking ethics or profit of any kind, this is a deeper vision, in search of well-being for us all, in a healthier environment.

This policy will become « commercial » and, by 2022, will officially form part of a more global CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach, in which everyone will be committed to sustainable development. Commitments that we are making with you now, and that we will develop together…
